Take an internationally recognised English exam while you study in Dublin. Trinity ISE is integrated into our CEFR-aligned English Language programmes so preparation feels natural, not separate.
Trinity’s Integrated Skills in English (ISE) exams assess reading, writing, speaking and listening together, and are mapped to CEFR levels used across Dorset College.
Preparation is built into our CEFR syllabus – you practise ISE-style tasks in class, then sit the exam on campus when you are ready.
Trinity ISE at Dorset College is available to current English Language learners on eligible programmes, including 25+ week Stamp 2 visa courses where an external exam is required. Exams normally run once per month, subject to demand and Trinity scheduling.
| Exam | Typical CEFR Level | Fee (Dorset learners) |
|---|---|---|
| ISE Foundation | A2 | €220 |
| ISE I | B1 | €220 |
| ISE II | B2 | €220 |
| ISE III | C1 | €220 |
Exam fees are additional to tuition and include registration with Trinity College London, Dorset exam administration and invigilation, and at least one mock exam. Fees may change in line with Trinity pricing; Admissions will confirm the current fee when you register.
Your Academic or Admissions contact can confirm whether Trinity ISE is recommended or required for your programme.
Late arrivals may not be admitted once the exam has started, in line with Trinity regulations.
Our Exams Team will guide you through the process and explain any special arrangements or timetable changes.
Not sure which exam level is right for you? Our Academic Team will advise based on your CEFR level, goals and study plans.
Ask about Trinity ISE when you book your course, or contact us for more information.
