Improve your English in a supportive, international college in the heart of Dublin. Our General English courses help you develop the confidence to communicate in everyday situations — from conversations and travel to work and study.
You’ll learn with experienced, TEFL-qualified teachers, meet classmates from over 20 countries, and take part in lively, interactive lessons that make learning enjoyable and rewarding.
With small classes, personalised guidance and a modern, student-centred approach to language learning, you’ll make real progress every week while living and studying in one of Europe’s most dynamic and friendly cities.
Our morning General English course helps you build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary through practical, real-life communication activities.
You can take this course on its own, or combine it with afternoon group classes or one-to-one lessons for a more intensive programme. If you wish to certify your level, you can prepare for internationally recognised exams such as Trinity ISE (held at Dorset College), Cambridge English and IELTS (taken at external exam centres).
You will also have access to our social programme – a great way to practise English while exploring Dublin and Ireland with your classmates.
When you arrive, you’ll complete a short placement test and interview so we can place you in the most suitable class for your level. New students can begin any Monday at 9:00 a.m. and are welcomed into their class straight away.
