Visas, letters & official documents

Many learners need documents for study visas, renewals or immigration appointments. We can provide course-related letters and confirmations where appropriate.

We can help you with:

  • Course acceptance letters and payment confirmations.
  • Confirmation of attendance and progress for visa renewals.
  • Information about the external exam included in Academic Year (Stamp 2) programmes.
Dorset College cannot give immigration advice or influence visa decisions. We can only provide documents that confirm your course and attendance.

If you need help with accommodation, wellbeing or general support while you are in Dublin, our team is here to listen and assist.

Opening hours & emergencies

Our main reception and English Language Office are normally open during weekday office hours.

Office hours

  • Monday–Friday: 09:00–17:30 (local time).
  • Closed on weekends and Irish public holidays.

In an emergency

  • For serious or life-threatening emergencies, always call 112 or 999 (Ireland’s emergency services).
  • If you are a current learner and need urgent help related to your course or accommodation, follow the emergency contact information given at induction or in your welcome documents.
Dorset College cannot provide a 24-hour emergency response service. However, we will always do our best to support you during college opening hours.
